Scrappy Slump

Yep I am in one...a really bad one too! I tried doing a simple 6x6 mini album with just some randon pics and couldn't even muster the creativity to finish it:(

BUT....I am hoping that once I get my pics in that I ordered will help me get out of it. Here, I'll give you just a taste of the pics!

Yeah scrapping those pics should definitely pull me out of my slump! After 25 years I still love them as much as I did then! Let me tell you John looks fantastic! (Can you tell who my favorite one is?) That man took my breath away when he was standing right in front of me! Oh yeah...thanks to Denise's encouragement I went to the front and was 3 feet away from them!!!

New work schedule....

So now I will be working 11pm-7am M-F. I am actually kind of excited about this! Seems kind of a nuts schedule but I think it will work well for me. Plus at least this way I can have some good quality scrappy time every single night! So hopefully I will have lots of new scrappy things to share! Guess I have no excuse now huh?

Bad Blogger...

So I am a slacker. So Lora and Angela this post is for you! Now I know I have at least 2 people who read my blog on a regular basis lol!

Not to much going on here. Bug has turned into a holy terror. Whoever said it was the terrible two's lied because 3 1/2 is 1000 times worse! Just think, she is out of school May 23rd! I know this is just a phase but I am ready for it to be over.

Scrappy wise I have been pretty busy. Now that my friend is homeschooling I have been spending most of my days over at her house scrapping. Plus with summer coming and gas prices the way they are neither one of us plan on doing too much over the summer except the beach in the mornings and scrap in the afternoons.

I had lost my mojo for a bit over the last few weeks but I seem to have gotten it back some. Lately I have been working on altered items rather than layouts. I guess the layouts just weren't speaking to me or something. Maybe it has to do with the weather. "Spring" in Virginia sucks. OK well if you live here you know that every season sucks because we have no idea what season it is going to be each day. Like they say "If you don't like the weather in VA, wait 15 minutes." Sadly that is true!

So with NSD (that is National Scrapbooking Day...yes we have our own day! I think everyday should be NSD!!) coming on May 3rd and 2 SassyScrappers having a fun filled day planned, I thought I would share some of my latest creations. So here they are. Alot of these are challenges from 2 Sassy!

I have some more layouts that I need to get pictures of and if it ever stops raining I'll get those done!

Here is a LO I did for a challenge....

over at 2 Sassy Scrappers. It was a challenge to use black and white with a splash of color. I have to admit that to me it looks like it needs more, but I am taking the advice of a friend that told me less is more.

I have been kind of down lately. Partly because my house just stays sick...I am now with a fever and stuff head. I'm miserable. The other is that I am doubting myself and my scrapping ability. I just feel like I'm not good enough. I know it is just an issue with me but I hate feeling this way. So I just need to get over myself and move on and get to creating.

I have lots of ideas I want to do so as soon as I get those done I will be back to share.

I am working on a surprise item for the For Peeps Sake swap and it is totally awesome! I can't wait to get these out to everyone!!

Got it like I want it....

OK so since I was working overnight I thought I would play around with my blog and get it to where I want it. I am still pretty new to all this embedding stuff into codes to get things to magically appear. I am pretty happy with what I have for now.

I think my favorite thing I added is my music player! I think I added some things that reflect me and what I like...ok I will fess up that thanks to Denise I love the first song that plays! It has become one of my favorite songs!

*To those of you that read this I am sorry for the music playing instantly but I couldn't figure out how to get the player at the top on the side (and have it actually fit) so for now it is at the bottom and THAT is why it is at the bottom.
So if any of you smart people out there can help me move it I will gladly take the autoplay off.

Wow it has been a LONG time

since I posted here. See I told you I was a blogging slacker! Anyway I have been pretty busy scrapping this year and I have lots to show for it. I will be getting my creations on here as soon as possible. I have started working more so trying to blog and work at the same time doesn't really work for me. I will be back very very soon with some creations, I promise!

**to add as a side note, I am very happy that I found a way to switch from one email to another on here. That was really stressing me out since my other email that I had orginally used to set this blog up was never used for anything! It was pretty much my junk mail email but I needed a Google email for my blog.
